Le cirque Bostock and Wombwell à Sainte-Foy

 Une des photos du petit album rouge, dans la colonne de droite, montre le cirque Bostock & Wombwell à Sainte-Foy. La photo a été prise à la fin du 19ème siècle.

Geoffrey Younger, un lecteur du blog, me signale que son arrière grand-père fut employé comme dompteur dans ce cirque et m'envoie ces deux photos :

My great grandad was born in Bath in 1870 and worked with Bostock and Wombwell's Menagerie from possibly 1897 to the late 1920 - started as a lion tamer and went on to be an elephant trainer.  I have attached two photos - thee showfront shows Arthur standing on the right.
